What is love
Love is Being born in a stable To dwell among men Starting of life GODS infinite plan
Love is Growing up in the small town Of Galalee Living a life Obscure and care free
Love is Starting a ministry Around thirty three That would impact the world Even you and me
Love is Feeding the thousands With fishes and loaves of bread Healing the sick Raising the dead
Love is Dieing on the cross On the cruel tree So others can live For eternity
Love is Coming back to life On the third day So others may see And others may say
That true love comes From up above In the form of JESUS Gods only son

Love Is
Love is patient, love is kind Love is not puffed up with pride Love concerns itself with good Love makes you act the way you should Love does not recall the pain True love is not a players game Love is a game of give and take As Christ's love for us, for His name's sake Love considers the others needs And they are held within their heart Tenderness fills each word they speak And from loving kindness they do not depart Love forgives, and forgets and forgets the errors And doesn't recall the fault It does not harbor resentment But retains love's tender thoughts It lasts forever in the heart And is always on the mind It's a warm, sentimental feeling And to anothers faults it's blind

All week long my wife dropped hints about Wal-Mart having a dozen red roses on sale for eleven dollars on Saturday. Today, she mentioned it again. "Oh, I forgot," was my reply. She was disappointed. But on Valentine's Day she will get a bouquet delivered to her work of five different colored roses and a blue flower. And this.....
My Bouquet To You
This red rose is for the blood, sweat and tears And for your love that has grown over the years The pink rose is for the gentleness in you Expressed by your words and the things you do The white rose a reminder of your heart that is pure And a love that has been able many storms to endure
A yellow rose for the sunshine you bring New hope, new starts, eternal Spring The blended rose a symbol of two hearts becoming one Its' beauty a testimony of what GOD and love has done
And finally a simple blue flower is a reminder you see Of how someone with such beauty picked someone like me

What Is Love
Love is Valuing the one who’s sharing themselves with you
Love is Appreciating the person who loves, and cares for you too
Love is Longevity in a relationship that isn’t always perfect
Love is Empathy in relationships that you know isn’t worth it
Love is Navigating your relationship through the difficult times
Love is Trusting a person because true love is hard to find
Love is Investing your heart, and showing someone that you care
Love is Never allowing anyone, or anything to interfere
Love is Empowering someone to love, and share in your life
And to be your Valentines Day Lover for the rest of your life

Is It Love? How Can YOU Tell?
Is it love? How can YOU tell? After the candy has been opened, After the flowers have been smelled, After the gifts have been unwrapped, How can YOU tell? Is it love? Oh, well, you see, love is a sacrifice. You have to give of yourself without thinking twice. Like giving up one’s life like Jesus did. You see, HE died for our sins so that WE ALL might live! Love is an ACTION word, It’s something you DO and something you SHOW, To family and friends and yes, even FOES! In fact, these are the folk whom God requires you to be MORE attentive and, as a result of your SINCERE efforts, HE WILL take you HIGHER and HIGHER. So, in your faith walk with the Lord, You must ask, “Is it love? How can you tell?” Well, it’s what WE ALL should be LIVING for!

This poem was written about my grandfathers life
Love for GOD causes you
To become faithful In all that you do Learning to become Tried and true
Raising a family A wife and two kids Always there To the end
Watching the girls Grow up and move away Always there Even though sometimes far away
Serving in his church In what he would do and say Helping out others Pointing them to the way
Always willing to listen Seldom to speak Filled with GODLY wisdom Which many would seek
Willing to do What others would ask Even though it was A menial task
Always faithful To his wife Even though in her sixties She lost her sight
Always faithful to her Till the very end On him She could depend
Even though in his late 80s Near the end There everyday Till her life was to end
Always with her Holding her hand Till she crossed over Jordon To the promise land
Depending on GOD To see him through Till his life On earth was completely through
Always faithful To GOD till the end Where at the age of one hundred His life came to an end
He was faithful to GOD Till his life on earth through Tried and true In all he whould do

Love is more than a feeling Love is a touch that brings healing
Love is more than words you speak Love is strength when another is weak
Love is more than a trophy to win Love is courage to reach out again
Love is more than a treasure to keep Love is a well with waters that are deep
Love is more than all-about-me Love is able to see you clearly
Love is more than what money buys Love feels pain and with you cries
Love is more than runaway passion Love treats you with compassion
Love is more than an investment Love forgives and doesn't resent
Love is more about you than me Love turns individuals into we
Love is a gift that you keep by giving Love is the life we should be living
.....peace.....
