THE SOWER SOWS THE SEEDS

Surely I too can testify
To the compassion of *this* man
Who sows his seeds of kindness
And on his faith . . . He tries to stand

Never looking for . . . Mans recognition
But he's always pointing folks . . . To the LORD
Not ever throwing out seeds of discord
But spreading SONshine near and abroad

Oh I met this planter many years ago
And a part of MY heart . . . He has become
Oh yes I know the Father smiles on him
Cuz of the souls to the LORD . . . He's won

Oh he's not alone . . . Though at times it seems
As we travel this rugged road
Oh I know Jesus is there . . . And cradling him
Giving him strength . . . And helping him carry his load

Hold on my friend . . . Press on for GOD
Don't you know the Lord . . . Never lets us down
Oh yes He dries our tears . . . And comforts us
When nobody else is ever around

Keep sowing those seeds . . . There's work to do
So many lives may depend on YOU
The harvest is plentiful . . . And the fields are ripe
Unfortunately the laborers . . . Are only a few

In His Eternal Love & Service,
God's Handmaiden

Hi Big Brother,

I found this poem that I had written for you. You stood in the gap for me when I was being attacked. You were kind and compassionate. In this life, sometimes we are our own worst enemies. I don't think you realize how close I was to crumbling...

We've never met, face to face, but I know that we are related, in Christ, and I'll never forget the kindness and compassion you showed to me when I was at my lowest.

So, when you think you have not made a difference, think about me.

God Bless you, Brother!!

catherine

"For Gordon"

like a soft whisper
this one came,
full of love,
and grace,
having seen his Father’s face,
knowing love
and being loved,
and not treating anyone differently,
but loving all the same,
sharing in love,
and no pushy bullying
was written in his words,
protecting the weak,
and defending the downtrodden.

Surely, Gordon,
Your reward will be great,
And I only hope I can witness
The way you will shine
As you meet the one that loved you,

From the beginning.

It is hard for me to understand
That people attempt to harm

A site for support and encouragement
That is definite cause for alarm

Their hearts must be void of love
What could be sadder than that

They won't build up, but break down
And they spread their nasty chat

Spreading their sex and their drugs
They're restless and evil within

Don't forget God and share in their games
And fall in their filth and their sins

God's Hand is still stretched out
He gave His only Son

To save even the filthiest sinner
And keep them until their race is won

This message is for the enemies
Who profane God's Holy Name

He still loves and cares for you
He'll help you to end your games

His Spirit is still stronger
Than the vilest sin

Turn to The God Of Heaven, through Jesus
Then, you'll also have His Kindom Within

His Purifying Love will refresh you
And give you hope for tomorrow

He'll put eternity in your heart
And help you deal with your sorrow

I don't care how far you've gone
Or if you've run away

Jesus is calling out to you
He's calling your name, today

Turn to my God and Saviour
He'll change the depths of your soul

He'll wrap His Arms around you
He'll forgive and make you whole

We are not promised tomorrow
He is calling your name today

Run to The Arms of My Saviour
Don't let anything stand in your way!!!!!

WHY WON'T YOU ADVERTISE MY JESUS?

To all you wanna be . . . Hackers out there
Who want to brag to us . . . About your mess
You know from Viagra . . . To playboy . . . Advertising implants and more
Why won't you try JESUS . . . And give HIM a test

Oh He's the King . . . He's for real . . . He's in complete control
You're breathing His air . . . Come on now . . . Can't you see?HuhHuh
That one day you will confess Him . . . And you SHALL call Him Lord
Yeah when He comes back . . . You'll surely bow your knee

In and out . . . In and out . . . From different forums you go
Trying to find a window . . . Or even an open door
Oh yeah . . . A place to plant your garbage . . . Helping people go to hell
With all your poison . . . You think you're going to pour

Look a here all you people . . . Working for your daddy
And you know exactly WHO I mean
I tell you Jesus . . . He IS watching . . . And He's keeping a record
He's getting hot . . . And building up some steam

REPENT . . . REPENT . . . Get on my Jesus side
We got a story . . . Yes we have a lot to say
About His Goodness and His Mercy . . . And about the BLOOD He shed
Right now I'm seeking Him . . . As I pray

I pray for your souls . . . That you will turn to God
And be a witness . . . Advertising HIS NAME
Cuz if you stay on the path . . . Where you are walking right now
On Judgment Day . . . You'll be the one to blame

In His Eternal Love & Service,
God's Handmaiden

Greetings Fellow Poets,

I am truly amazed at all the traffic that comes to the Poetic Moments Forum.  It is truly fertile ground to minister to the children of God, as well as to the children of the devil.  Oh yes, my friends, everybody is not on the Lords side.  In fact, there are folks who try, on a daily basis, to attack the people of God.  For instance, on this God-ordained, unique forum, people try to register . . . Not to post poems . . . They seek to hack into the system to post their ungodly advertisements, and some even try to spread viruses.  Of course, this forum has safeguards against all the wiles of the devil, and everyone, first of all, has to be approved by me, and the Holy Ghost (smile).  Now I have just reactivated this forum.  Last month, 178 people attempted to register and were rejected.  So far this month, 256 people have been rejected, and trust me, these are not all the same people.  That's a total of 434 people who have been rejected thus far, in less than 2 months.  My friends, the stats to this forum are available for ALL to see.......

From the Main Index Page, at the bottom where it says *Forum Stats,* there is a link that says [more stats]....Click on that, and you will be able to see all the stats for this forum.  Now, because we have so many wanna be hackers, and perpetrators who come here, I figured we might as well minister directly to THEM, and prayerfully, some will even turn to the Lord.  Please allow the Lord to use you to minister to this flock of people who visit this site on a daily basis.

Hell's flames followed me
Nowhere to hide!
I did what I wanted
I nearly lost my sight

I only wanted to be happy
I hurt those I knew
Justifying my life
People said I was through

Reading His Word
I saw what I became
How could I ever again
Call on His Name?

My soul flew low
To the deep, fiery grave
There was no one
For my soul to save!

My tears hit a wall
I could not eat
But still I approached
His Mercy Seat

Then oh, His Light broke through
My sin-sick soul!
His perfect Love
Forgave, and made me whole!

The enemy tried to steal
What My Lord had done
I refused to doubt
My gift of God's own Son!

His Hand is still stretched out
It is not short to save!
His Mercy is Everlasting
He raised me from my grave!

Pain and sorrow surrounds us
While in this world of sin
But, The Lord, who lives within us
Is the One who will cause us to win

No, we may not win while living
For we are all born to die
What matters is what comes after
Though here, oftentimes, we cry

This life is brief and fleeting
Yet, still we have His Hope
For, we can envision eternity
And, that is how we cope

So stand, dear ones, and don't give in
He knows what you're going through
So, while we live and while we die
One day, we Will be made new

The promise that dwells inside us
Like the freshness of the morning sun
Keeps us pressing forward
Until our race is won!

Yeah girl, your so fine you got it all going on
Your stuff be shaking like jello, word is bond
Your face can grace billboards you look that darn good
When you strut you stop all traffic in the neighborhood

You wear them skin tight  leotards like in the thong song
Men break their necks, singing thong th-thong thong thong
Then you go to church on Sunday shouting Hallelujah
But God's got your number he can see right through ya

I don't mean to sound corny but you're not my type
Sure you look good but I don't believe the hype
You use your past as an excuse to be promiscuous
What you trying to cover up; what you hiding from us?

There you go again crying I don't feel sorry for you
Fool me twice shame on me, fool me once shame on you
You need to repent and forgive all of your abusers
Don't let Satan pull your cards you know he's the accuser

This isn't girls gone wild and you're no hootchie mama
You're hurting inside but you need to stop all the drama
The real beauty's inside you, not what's on the outside
Good looks can't cover up what you're trying to hide

I'll do my part it's only right by praying for your soul
But you need the Holy Spirit in you to make you whole
I'll just keep my distance and watch God work in your life
No wed, no bed is my anthem I'm saving myself for my wife.

Greetings Fellow Poets,

So many people that I know (family, friends, co-workers, even those in ministry) are dealing with so many health issues.  Many of them of a serious nature, from heart problems, to liver problems, diabetes, cancer, and that is just to name a few.  Is there no balm in Gilead?

Can yall poets please offer some *poetic* words of encouragement, hope, and life for our dear sisters and brothers in Christ.  Surely our God is still in the healing business.

Peace & Blessings,
Sister Margie
